Today I was working on my current knitting project, Monkey Socks modified to be done from the toe up. I love these socks. Love love love. But they are kind of tight to get over the heel, which makes me sad because they fit perfectly across the rest of my foot. I might need to find a new basic sock recipe to work off of.
. Anyhow, I was working on these socks. And I have been working on them a lot yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that. And today, I knitted a hole right through my index finger on my left hand. The one that pushes the tip of the needle down as I knit across. So now I have my first full on knitting related injury. (at least, the first one that isn't an allergic reaction to the needles. What kind of freak gets an allergic reaction to the needles? /cry)
So at the end of the day, I'm left with an almost complete sock, that almost doesn't fit, and finger injury that makes finishing the too-small sock a much slower endeavor.
