A Return to Speaking To People Other Than Myself

Today marks my ... third?  attempt at returning to blogging.  It seems I might need a place to obsess in the near future, and I do enjoy sharing pictures of the stuff going on around here.

Today, I learned to wind a ball of yarn using a nostepinne. My nostepinne was much less fancy than hers.

But regardless of price, it made a beautiful ball of yarn that is flat on the bottom and won't roll away, and unwinds from the center.

From this pretty little orange ball of Noro Matsuri will come a Market Bag.  I'm totally excited about it.   In the meantime I still have a sweater for me, a shawl for me, and socks for me on the needles right now as well.   My knitting list is self centered this week. (Partially because I have given away everything I have made to date).
